Q.U.I.L.T.S. of Schenectady, Inc. is presenting its 2008 AUTUMN INSPIRATIONS XI Quilt Show at proctors GE Theatre on October 4 and 5. There is a spectacular Raffle Quilt(see picture on first page of Quilts_Show_and_Tell. Vendors will include Woodstock, The Fieldstone House, The Joyful Quilter, A Notion to Quilt, and Adirondack Quilts. Door Prizes will include sewing and cooking books, sewing supplies, and more suprising wonderments. Quilters' Boutique will have 6.5" cut squares in packages of 25 or 50, Fat Quarters, whole pieces of fabric, quilt books, notions, magazines. There will be a block challenge, for visitors to vote on, celebrating 25 years of Q.U.I.L.T.S. The blocks will be 12.5 square, recognizing the magic number 25 in some way. Somewhere in the design must be silver fabric for our silver anniversary. Bring squares to the October 2nd meeting or mail to E. McCain no later than September 25, 2008. . Registration forms must be received no later than August 23, 2008. The entries themselves will be received at the Quilts Schenectady meeting on October 2, from 6pm until 8pm.
